For decades, molasses has remained an essential ingredient in the confectionery industry thanks to its unique properties. It serves as a sugar substitute, thickener, and anti-crystallizing agent, making it an important component of many confectionery products.

Molasses is rich in beneficial minerals such as calcium, magnesium, potassium, manganese, copper, and iron, as well as vitamins and fiber. Its main secret lies in its ability to modify or maintain the texture of semi-finished and finished products. In addition, molasses greatly enhances the organoleptic qualities of sweets — improving their color, flavor, and aroma. It prevents sugar crystallization, adds shine, and improves the chewiness of confectionery products.

In our production, we use molasses to create caramel, toffee, and colorful sugar- or coconut-coated fruit slices.
