Since 1996, the Central Testing Laboratory has set the goal of demonstrating that it operates within a clearly defined management system, possesses high technical competence, and is capable of providing reliable and technically sound results.

This goal has been achieved: on December 25, 1996, the laboratory received its initial accreditation in accordance with the international standard EN ISO/IEC 17025. To this day, the Central Testing Laboratory maintains and continuously improves its management system in accordance with the requirements of SM EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018, while also applying documents developed by EA, ILAC, national and international standards, as well as MOLDAC rules and procedures, including the requirements of the Food Safety Management System (ISO 22000:2018).

Key objectives of the quality policy:

• Maintaining and strengthening the authority earned by the Central Testing Laboratory of JSC “Bucuria” in the declared field, including the entire technological chain of confectionery production — from raw materials and auxiliary substances to the finished product;
• Building trust by demonstrating the laboratory’s ability to carry out testing at national and international levels, in accordance with applicable requirements;
• Maintaining a high level of staff qualification and applying good professional practices in testing services, with full respect for confidentiality and impartiality towards clients.

Customer relations

Client feedback and suggestions are of particular importance to the laboratory, as they help identify potential risks and enable the implementation of necessary improvements. Complaints regarding the services provided are handled with the utmost care. Procedure PSM 7.9 “Complaints” is available upon request to any interested party.

Personnel and competence

The Central Testing Laboratory employs trained and highly qualified personnel required for the activities within its declared scope. The laboratory’s specialists regularly participate in national and international proficiency testing programs, thereby confirming the quality and reliability of the results delivered.

Management involvement

To achieve these results, the management of J.S.C. “Bucuria” consistently undertakes the following actions:

• Ensures the impartiality and confidentiality of laboratory staff, preventing any external influence on test results;
• Guarantees a high level of technical training for personnel and provides the necessary equipment and tools for conducting tests in accordance with applicable methods;
• Allocates the necessary resources for the effective operation of the laboratory and for the continuous improvement of the management system.
